Jade Smith is a curator and artist based in Dundee. She recently completed an MFA in Curatorial Practice at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD), following a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the same institution.
Her curatorial practice is grounded in research, collaboration, and audience engagement, with a focus on creating thoughtful, accessible, and dynamic exhibition experiences. Jade’s work often explores the relationships between artists, space, and community, aiming to foster dialogue and connection through contemporary art.
She has co-curated projects including “Jade Smith is in the Binnn” and “The Binn, Art Night” (2023), and was part of the student curatorial team for “In The Post” (2020). In 2024, Jade was selected for RSA New Contemporaries, recognising her emerging contribution to Scotland’s art scene.
